Aprils Cozy Candles HISTORY:
It all got started in Missouri! My youngest daughter Isabella was a very sick baby and Goats Milk saved her life! She had severe
pediatric G.E.R.D. And was called a failure to thrive. At 9 months old my daughter was the size of a typical newborn and could
not keep any milk down. Several amazing women in Missouri told me to give my daughter Goats milk. I did, I went to the
grocery store and bought a can...WOW.... That was the WORST night she had ever had! The ladies then said...NO HUNNY, get
a dairy goat and give her fresh goats milk!  OK, at this point, she was about to be put into the St. Louis Children's Hospital and
have a J-Tube ran down her to feed her, I was desperate!  I did buy a Dairy Goat that was giving milk, a Nubian. We named her
Nubbie.  Nubbie's milk saved my daughters life! It was as if she was instantly healed! Being the woman of faith that I am, I do
see the Goats milk as a healing, as an answered prayer! My daughter took off, no more medicine and no more spitting up
everything she ate. She was thriving!!!!! We had a farm already and the welcoming of Dairy Goats was a blessed addition!
So how did we get where we are today?
We have since moved out of rural South East Missouri and now call Winchester Kentucky HOME.
BUT, the amazing benefits of goats milk has stayed with us. Goats milk is extremely gentle  on the tummy AND is  amazing on
our skin. No more allergic reactions to store bought-chemical soaps!
This is how the Goats Milk Soaps,Lotions and Body Sprays were brought into our business. We needed gentle cleansing
products for our sensitive daughters skin as well as gentle milk for her tummy. I was already making these goodies for my own
family and then the Lord gave me a Business!!!!
I wanted Gentle Bath and Beauty products for my family and I also loved candles but noticed with Paraffin candles I would get
extreme migraines and noticed my youngest daughter would get severe sinus infections, so with some research I found how
nasty paraffin wax was, and that is how I started the All Natural Soy Wax candles.
Gentle,Clean and good for you products were started for use in my home, then the Lord blessed me in a way that has forever
changed me and my families life. I began making these products for friends and family, then word of mouth got out and hence
Aprils Cozy Candles was born !
I buy top of the line fragrance oils,soy wax  and ingredients for ALL my products! If it isn't good enough for use in my home, then
it doesn't need to be in yours! Every Soap,Every Candle & Tart,Every Lotion, Every Body Spray and Every Lip Balm; I hand
make myself. Right here in my kitchen, I make all these wonderful and gentle products with the highest of quality for your home
and mine!
I hope you enjoy them and find the nourishing benefits of Goats Milk just as impressive as we do! And, I hope you enjoy the
amazing benefits of Soy candles that clean the air while scenting it beautifully. My personal experience has been, since making
and using my soy candles, I have not yet once had a migraine! It just amazes me how many years I used the old Paraffin wax
candles and suffered needlessly with headaches and really had no idea the candles were the cause!!!!!!
And, as my final word to all of you...... I am a woman of Faith, so I operate my business under those principles I hold near and
dear to my heart and as my Kitchen Sign Says: "Aprils Kitchen, everything made with love." I am just a simple Country
Girl, Making Goodies in the Kitchen for my home & yours!
